Mickey Pruitt is the Director of Construction Administration (CA) at Architects Design Group. He handles ADG’s day-to-day CA responsibilities, traveling to attend construction meetings, and touring project sites. As a result, Mickey acts as an essential liaison between the design team, the construction manager, the contractor, as well as with the project owner. In doing so, Mickey ensures that the work is being constructed according to the contract documents. His area of expertise centers on construction quality control and subcontractor management. Mickey Pruitt’s experience lends itself to all facets of the construction process, which greatly assists our clients in experiencing successful, timely, and cost-effective projects.
Two years prior to joining the ADG team, he worked for GE Aviation in the West Jefferson jet engine machine shop. Previously, Mickey owned a small construction company, building custom homes and light commercial projects for 28 years. Notably, most of those projects were of his own design. Additionally, he has done almost 10 years of offshore oilfield work involving engineering and labor. Mickey Pruitt also served our country as a member of the US Navy.
