North Port Comprehensive Facilities Study

The City of North Port, Florida selected ADG to prepare an analysis of all Municipal Facilities and property holdings for the purpose of creating a Master Facilities Plan to guide decision making over a twenty year period due to a rapid population growth.
ADG initiated the project with completion of Task One – Dallas White Park Master Plan. The first municipal facilities were created at this site in the northwest area of the City, consisting of a collection of pre-engineered metal buildings. A new municipal center was constructed closer to the geographic center of the City. ADG created a master plan to reuse the municipal site.

Oakland Park Master Facility
Oakland Park, Florida
ADG assisted the City of Oakland Park, with an assessment of City facilities and a master plan for a 5-year Capital Improvements Program. Stated goals for City facilities that are factored into the master plan include energy efficiency, survivability of critical facilities, ADA compliance, safety and security, and the enhanced efficiency of operations at appropriately consolidated facilities

Bartow Facilities Assessment and ADA Study
Bartow, Florida
ADG conducted the Citywide ADA Study for the City of Bartow in two phases. In Phase 1, a preliminary assessment of 74 facilities was completed which provided a prioritized list of facilities for subsequent detailed review. Phase 1 identified 50 critical facilities for ADA compliance, based upon factors such as high public utilization and City staff utilization by individuals with special needs.
A detailed assessment was completed in Phase 2, which recorded all interior and exterior criteria which was found to be non-compliant per federal regulations and/or state code (Title II of the ADA, The Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG), and Chapter 11 of the Florida Building Code).
